Origami Thanksgiving scene created by MIT Origami club

MIT students have a reputation as creative engineering geniuses – and rightly so. This November, members of MIT’s paper-folding club, OrigaMIT, used their formidable math skills to solve a more artistic equation.

Club members spent 30 hours to create this Thanksgiving tableau, comprised of more than 25 individual pieces. The turkey centerpiece took more than 3 hours to complete.
